straight contingency - a percentage of the amount actually collected
reverse
contingency - a percentage of the amount actually saved
mixed hourly/contingency - a reduced hourly rate, plus a percentage
of the amount actually collected or saved
flat fee - the fee is fixed and agreed upon at the start of engagement

capped - a hourly rate, but there will be a ceiling on the number of billable hours
mixed flat fee/contingency - a
flat fee for certain tasks, plus a percentage of the amount actually collected or saved

flat fee for certain tasks, plus an hourly rate for others
Not included in the foregoing are the filing, docket, and
other legal fees, and expenses like messengerial, postage, facsimile, photocopying, and transcripts of stenographic notes.
For both straight and reverse contingencies, a deposit of 5% of the amount involved will be required, but this amount
will be deducted from the percentage of the amount eventually collected or saved. An additional P7,500.00 will be required
to cover out-of-pocket expenses like transportation.
For the rest, a deposit of P7,500.00 will be required to cover
out-of-pocket expenses like transportation.
At the start of engagement, an agreement will be drawn up, containing
the choice of fee arrangement, the scope of services to be rendered, and the manner of payment.
